Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the website and services operated by Sleeping Shaman Hypnotherapy & Astrology ("us," "we," or "our").

Your access to and use of our services, including our website located at sleepingshaman.com, scheduling platform, and all content, services, and products (collectively, the "Services") is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use our Services.

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access our Services.

1. Services Description
Sleeping Shaman Hypnotherapy & Astrology provides spiritual, educational, and personal development services, including but not limited to:

  • Clinical Hypnotherapy

  • Astrological Guidance and Natal Chart Readings

  • Shamanic Connection Sessions

  • Informational PDF Reports

2. No Medical or Mental Healthcare Services
Important Notice: Our Services are designed for personal development, spiritual guidance, and self-exploration. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or financial advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Mario Mijares is a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHt) and Astrological Guide, not a licensed physician, psychiatrist, psychologist, or financial advisor.

  • Hypnotherapy is a complementary modality. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information you received during a hypnotherapy session.

  • Astrology is a symbolic language for insight and reflection. It is not a science and does not provide definitive predictions or answers. You retain full free will and responsibility for your choices.

3. User Responsibilities and Account

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the booking and intake process.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login information and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • For hypnotherapy, you affirm that you have disclosed any relevant psychological or medical history and have consulted with your healthcare provider if you have a condition that may be affected by hypnotherapy.

4. Financial Terms, Cancellation, and Rescheduling

  • Payment: Payment for services is due in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than the required notice may be subject to a fee of 50% of the service cost. "No-shows" will be charged the full session fee.

  • Refunds: Due to the digital and time-reserved nature of our services, we generally do not offer refunds for completed sessions or digital products (e.g., PDF reports). Refund requests for cancelled appointments are handled on a case-by-case basis according to our cancellation policy.

5. Intellectual Property
All content provided through our Services, including session recordings, PDF reports, website text, graphics, and logos, is the intellectual property of Sleeping Shaman Hypnotherapy & Astrology and is protected by copyright law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for your personal, non-commercial use only.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability
Our Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee any specific results from the use of our Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sleeping Shaman Hypnotherapy & Astrology and Mario Mijares shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services.

7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sleeping Shaman Hypnotherapy & Astrology and its licensee from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and costs arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services.

8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
